Abstract

In this paper, a fuzzy adaptive stabilizing control scheme for a class of nonlinear systems is proposed. This scheme enables us to derive fewer fuzzy rules that constitute the rule base of the controller to achieve the control object. It is proved that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable based on Lyapunov function. Finally, this scheme is applied to control a inverted pendulum system. The simulation results show that our scheme is more valid than the scheme shown in some papers, even under the condition of system input with some interferences, it also can complete control purposes.
