Interference is one of the challenges that limit the performance of Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN). It became a major issue with new devises being equipped with more than one radio interface. This research emphasizes on impact of interference in multi-hop/ multi-radio WMN's throughput as a result of utilizing dual radios in WMN's station. Various laboratory experiments in this research indicates that the IEEE802.11 noninterfering channels for the 2.4GHz band still exhibit some level of interference. Furthermore, we proposed an interference cancellation circuit that showed a noticeable throughput enhancement in our experiments. This validates the proposed solution for interference suppression and throughput enhancement.
