Abstract

The design of a distributed half-physical simulation platform is presented according to the characteristics of aerial target tracking simulation system. In the platform, the multi-computer system is utilized to perform the complicated simulation tasks and in each subsystem and unit of the simulation system, the modularized design is introduced in order to enhance the universality and scalability of the system. So it is flexible to change and modify the corresponding hardware or software modules. The data transmission between the simulation computers is based on the network with the improved UDP protocol to guarantee the reliabilities of data exchange. The simulation results have testified the validity and reasonability of the half-physical simulation platform.
