Abstract

This communication describes an automatic inquiry forms 2. Segmentation reader. This reader was developed in order to collect data from the inquiries that our School organizes. Inquiry 2.1 Binarization forms ask some data about the study habits of our students. Before this system, data were collected manually. In the future, we want to generalize the system so that it can read any kind of form (provided that we previously describe the format via a configuration file). As we will explain so on, this system uses standard image processing and pattern recognition techniques (such as mathematical morphology and neural networks).
