Application domain knowledge presented by ontology is used mainly for conceptual modelling of information systems in the information systems development context. A number of methods are suggested for mapping of an ontology to a conceptual data model. However, it is important to evaluate the suggested methods. The authors of this paper present evaluation of the method of the transforming ontology axioms to application domain rules. Since, nowadays, the manual implementation of application domain rules is the most common and the existing methods of the transforming ontology to conceptual data model do not analyse the transforming of ontology axioms to domain rules, we compare the proposed method with the manual implementation of rules.
