This article deals with the problem of data extraction on the basis of visual appearance and the similarity of visual representation. This approach extends the existing approaches to the extraction of data on another dimension. In addition to the structure of data, their visual representation is taken into account. This article presents a new method of comparing the structure and content of a document using transformation of data visual representation. It is possible to search and extract the necessary data on the basis of similarity of the results of these transformations.
