Abstract

In this work a multimodal head-mounted device for the assessment of social orienting behavior in children between 12 and 24 months is presented. The device is specifically designed to be used in poorly structured and uncontrolled environments such as day-care centers. Accordingly, a calibration procedure is described which fully exploits the multimodal approach and which is particularly suitable for an ecological assessment.
