Abstract

Technology monitoring is helpful for companies, employees, and stakeholders to understand the technological situation of their supplying products nowadays. Solar cell, one of the green energy, is growing rapidly with its nonpolluted and unexhausted characteristics. In addition, the patent data contains plentiful technological information from which is worthwhile for exploring further knowledge. Therefore, two graph-based methods, KeyGraph and Data Crystallization, were employed so as to analyze the patent data, to form a technological scenario, and to explain the overview of solar cell technology. Finally, the relations among companies, technology, and application have been observed, and the strategic suggestions have been proposed accordingly.
