Abstract

This paper deals with audio signal watermarking in the wavelet domain. The method described exploits for its functionality an implemented psychoacoustic model MPEG I layer I with the aid of discrete wavelet packet transform. This method embeds a watermark with the help of modification of selected tonal masking components in an audio signal, whereby it is ensured that the watermark is embedded transparently and, in addition, does not require the knowledge of the original audio data.
