Support of wider bandwidth up to 100MHz is one of the key features for IMT-Advanced system. Carrier aggregation has been studied as major a solution. For home base station (HBS), there are still more details need to be elaborated due to complicated deployment scenarios. In this paper, three possible carrier aggregation solutions for H-BS are studied and the performances are evaluated. According to analysis on simulation results, flexible carrier aggregation schemes should be adopted, especially autonomous carrier management. In addition, when HBS is deployed co-channel with macro base station (M-BS), additional interference mitigation solutions would be needed for both H-BS and M-BS.
