Abstract

A class of multiphase sequences with periodic odd-shift orthogonal properties is presented. The constructed sequences are based on interleaved DFT matrix and their periodic autocorrelation function (ACF) is 0 for all odd shifts. These sequences can be divided into multiple groups. The intragroup periodic cross-correlation function (CCF) values are alternately zero and the inter-group periodic CCF is ideal. In addition, the zero correlation zone (ZCZ) properties of the designed sequences are discussed and the expansion of ZCZ sequence sets by using similar methods is proposed.
