In this paper, degree distributions of unequal error protection low-density parity-check (UEP-LDPC) codes are found by using Gaussian approximation algorithm. The UEP-LDPC codes have good overall performance and UEP property over AWGN channel. Simulation results show that the proposed UEP-LDPC code can improve the quality of the reconstructed image effectively in uncompressed image transmission with high spectral efficiency.
