Abstract

Because connectivity usually can not be guaranteed, delay performance is mostly poor for opportunistic networks. And Network partition is the regular phenomenon for multi-hop wireless networks although the source node in partition district can transmit information by mobile node. Then the delay performance based on network coding is studied for the above network environment and an efficient network coding unit and the distribution strategy of arrive intensity are proposed. Simulation results show the proposed method can meet the delay requirement of opportunistic network communication.
