A MIMO system with finite-bit feedback based on fixed constellations is considered. For this system, an optimal operating system with maximum-likehood (ML)-decoding is demonstrated, and furthermore, to reduce encoding complexity, an asymptotic optimal operating system is also proposed. Theoretical analysis and simulations show that our encoding method has much less complexity than existing encoding methods.
