In this paper a joint transmit scheme employing VBLAST and STBC MIMO profile is considered for a MC DS CDMA system. By combining both the MIMO profile spatial multiplexing and diversity gain can be achieved. At the receiver we employed the generalized MUDs like MAP, combined OSIC and SIC detectors. Also, the performance of a joint MAP/OSIC detector is assayed. To detect the signal, channel matrix and received signal matrix are modified. Also both ZF and MMSE estimation techniques are employed to study the performance of the system. It is discerned through simulation VBLAST/MMSE Joint MAP/OSIC detector, performs closer to that of optimal MUD with reduced complexity.
