Abstract

A detection method of convolutionally coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing coded division multiplexing communication system with non-Gaussian interference is studied. The frequency spreading through subcarriers can obtain frequency diversity and whiten the non-Gaussian unknown interference in OFDM-CDM system. The impact of whitened non-Gaussian noise on OFDM-CDM is similar to Gaussian interference and can be detected by parallel interference cancellation. The parallel interference cancellation performs better than minimum mean square error equalization. The results show that the parallel interference cancellation is also efficient in coded OFDM-CDM with unknown non-Gaussian interference.
