Abstract

The location technology in wireless sensor network (WSN) is always the focus of research scholars at home and abroad. Based on an improved simulated annealing algorithm, this paper presents a novel WSN node localization algorithm. And the basic principle and the implementing approaches of the algorithm are emphatically introduced. Simulation results demonstrate that good position performance is achieved. Compared with traditional simulated annealing algorithm, positioning accuracy has increased nearly doubled. In addition, the algorithm is very simple and the computational loads are very small, therefore it is suitable for node location of wireless sensor network.
