Abstract

The number of students appearing for online examinations continues to rise astronomically, from a substantial 3.2 million last year. Statistics estimate burgeoning of 871,000 online mock test-sites in the last decade. The mock test-sites, however, provide basic, if not minimal features to students and teachers. Primary reason is that the existing expensive test simulation softwares have not taken a 'student-centric' approach and do not provide necessary guidance to the students. Taking into account the difficulties faced by the student-teacher fraternity, the paper puts forth a model of an exceptional online test software 'CyberCrux', developed and implemented by our research team which opens a unique paradigm revolutionizing the education system with its technical advancements. Its primary objective is the dissemination of knowledge by providing test making and test taking facilities, all under one roof. The paper aims at establishing the world's first online test centre globalizing student-teacher interaction and developing the world's largest online test library, spanning over tests from all fields of learning, made available at - 'CyberCrux'.
