This paper presents application of the Texture Synthesis for improved video compression scheme. As video sequence is group of images and categorized as textures with unimportant subjective details and important details will be extracted using edge detection, this paper refers 'Canny Method' for selection of important & unimportant details. Bit rate reduction is achieved by region removal at the encoder and reconstruction of the video will be using texture synthesis at decoder. Region will be removed with conventional block based information instead of global motion field. The scheme uses spatio temporal patch searching in texture synthesis for reconstruction removed region of video. The scheme will be implemented on the video compression standard H.264 and made flexible Bit rate reduction will be achieved with same video quality levels compared with H.264/AVC.
