Information and communication technologies have a valuable potential to help meet good e-governance goals and objectives in India. Yet that potential remains largely untapped to date. One of the major reasons for this is poor human, organizational and technological infrastructure and inappropriate approaches taken by donors, vendors and governments. This paper is directed towards providing insights into suitable strategies for application implementation, driven by a holistic operating model approach for various e-Governance initiatives in India.
