Recently, as the requirements of e-business are evolving, and the domain complexity is increasing, the practical use of component is growing in the e-business applications. By enhancing flexibility and maintainability, the component management framework can potentially be used to reduce system development costs, assemble systems rapidly, and relieve the spiraling maintenance burden for supporting the evolution of e-business. In this paper, we propose a component-driven development framework named EbizCom. The EbizCom provides a plug-and-play component-oriented development environment for e-business systems.
