Abstract

This study investigates the effects on a company's software development process before, during and after introducing eXtreme Programming (XP). In addition of gaining empirical data, the study addresses two other issues: First, the adaptation of XP to fit the company's complex software development environment. Second, to find out if some practices in XP seem to contribute more to the software development process than others.
