Abstract

Visual interaction design, as Maria Wadlow described in the January issue of the SIGCHI Bulletin, involves the visual aspects of interaction in interface design (Wadlow, 1993). It is an "intersection" of the disciplines of graphic design and interface design. Though it combines elements of both, it does not encompass the entire spectrum of each of these disciplines.
