This study considers the construction of a multicriteria model to assist in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. This disease is considered to be one of the most frequent of the dementias and it is responsible for about 50% of the cases. Due to this fact and the therapeutical limitations in the most advanced stage of the disease, the diagnosis made of the correct way is extremely important and it can provide better life conditions to patients and their families. For the application of the model two scenarios: 1) The battery of standardized assessments developed by The Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's disease (CERAD) and 2) The questionnaire with 120 questions that was used in a study realized in the city of Sao Jose dos Campos, SP, Brazil were used.
