Abstract

The medium access control (MAC) protocol defined in IEEE 802.15.4 standard is being considered as a promising technology for low-cost and low power Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). In fact, the current IEEE 802.15.4 specifications don't avoid hidden node problem (HNP). In this paper, proposed scheme is dynamic Group Allocation Scheme for avoiding HNP Based on Grouping Strategy for Solving Hidden Node Problem in IEEE802.15.4 LR-WPAN[3] to avoid HNP and to use bandwidth more efficiently.
