Abstract

A conceptual software exorciser for the verification of computer programs is illustrated with specific examples programmed in Fortran, PL1 and APL. In each language one program is correct and one is incorrect, but all programs execute and give correct answers for some inputs. We illustrate how one may automate such an interactive system.
