Abstract

Automatic verification of "isa" relations is a basic problem in knowledge acquisition from text. We present an iterative method of "isa" relation verification based on some features. It initially acquires a set of "isa" relation features. Secondly these features are changed into a set of production rules. Then the candidate "isa" relations acquired from Chinese corpus is verified with multifeatures production rules. Experimental results demonstrate good performance of the method.
