Abstract

Rough function, presented by Pawlak, an extension of rough set theory, is significant in many areas. The rough mapping can be interpreted as an extension to rough function. The concept of rough mapping and its properties are given under the general binary relations in this paper. We present some ideas concerning rough mapping under the general binary relations, discuss some properties about it, and discuss the characteristic relationships between the general binary relations and rough mapping's approximation operators.
