Based on credibility theory, this paper presents a new class of fuzzy expected value model for data envelopment analysis (FEVM-DEA). In some special cases, such as the fuzzy inputs and fuzzy outputs are independent trapezoidal fuzzy variables, we transform the FEVM-DEA to its crisp equivalent class and discuss some basic properties of the proposed FEVM-DEA. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed FEVMDEA and the relative efficiency is analyzed.
