In this paper, we propose that by co-ordinated transmission of single user STBCs we can completely eliminate co-channel interference in a multiple cell scenario. A 4 × 4 twouser STBC code design is proposed which provides decoupled decoding of the data of each user. The proposed multiuser STBC performs better than the existing multiuser STBCs and also provide lower value of peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) as compared to a trivial TDMA based STBC.
