Abstract

Because of its features of loose coupling and platform independency, SOA is becoming the preferred and more suitable architectural style for ubiquitous or pervasive computing. On the other hand, with the crescent improvement in hardware and software infrastructure, the ubiquitous computing is gaining prominence and must become an effective reality in a few years from now. This paper presents the U-SOA (Ubiquitous Service-Oriented Architecture), more precisely one of its central components, the engine for services compositions execution in ubiquitous environments.
