This paper describes an approach to improve the knowledge represented in the domain model of a Dialogue System (DS). The DS allows its user to interact, via speech, for instance, with an Ambient Intelligence (AmI) scenario composed by a set of heterogeneous artifacts. Typically, the user's available tasks are represented in the domain model through atomic knowledge unit references, nominated concepts. Our knowledge-updating proposal suggests the insertion of similarity arcs, between pairs of concepts, represented by descriptors and determined by similarity measures. A case study about food is presented.
