SIPAR_ID is a software based on a robust multiobjective inverse modeling technique for estimating field values of infiltration and roughness parameters of a surface irrigation event under both steady and variable inflow conditions. Its simulation engine is quite flexible and accurate thanks to a hybrid model that combines a volume-balance model with artificial neural networks. SIPAR_ID also provides an estimate of the uncertainty and sensitivity of the identified parameters.
