Blog service has become popular in recently years. Web users can post their articles on their blog sites. However, users do not have full control of their articles after these articles have been posted while blog service is built with client/server model. Therefore, peer-to-peer (P2P) technology has been proposed to establish blog services. However, compare those P2P systems with traditional blog systems, the user experiences of using blog systems in those P2P systems are still far from the ones in traditional systems. For example, only a part of multimedia content types are supported. This paper proposes a new platform, named Pebble2P, which combines traditional blog system and P2P blog system. Thus, users can have user experience similar to the one in traditional blog while the benefits of P2P blog system remain preserved.
