Traditional Peer-to-Peer (P2P) overlay networks are based on distributed peers' query system, which incurs heavy control overhead on P2P overlay networks. In this, paper, we present a Transmission Topology Map (TTM) construction algorithm for content owner-oriented P2P content sharing, which can also be considered as 'push-based P2P'. The main feature of the algorithm is that when a content owner disseminates its content to multiple peers, it becomes responsible for organizing the content flow within P2P network to minimize control overhead. The content owner assigns parts of the content to peers, so that additional steps for discovering peers and parts of the contents can be effectively eliminated. The proposed algorithm maximizes the data transfer rate while minimizing the content delivery cost and content sharing time among peers.
