The paper presents the architecture of a software frame which supports almost all known types of test items in extended IMS standard (based on the so called accumulative question types) and provides a way to effectively realize adaptability by utilizing an executable test process model. The architecture of the experimented software frame is modular which enables different parts of the system to be used autonomously.
