Abstract

The paper presents the DIAMOND program developed by the first author at the University of Liege, Belgium, for post processing the results from a specialized fire analysis computer program. The fire analysis program uses an advanced computation method based on the finite element model for the analysis of 2D and 3D structural models subjected to fire. The postprocessor uses the information obtained from the main program to display the output and to interact with the structural model. The main capabilities of the 3D postprocessor and the principles used in their implementation are presented.
