Abstract

This paper reviewed the popular time-frequency analysis methods of signals. Due to the weakness in phase analyzing ability of the general time-frequency analysis methods, a novel method with specific frequency polar images was proposed. And the fundamental concept of it was defined. This method acquires the time-frequency distribution and phase information of signals by projecting them to a specific frequency polar. And through the dynamic tracks in the polar cycle, the time-frequency information was showed clearly. Finally, the characteristics of this method were concluded. And the direction of future works was assigned.
