Abstract

Current planning tools for cycling trips do not sufficiently support the often explorative, spontaneous nature of cycling as route creation is not provided in a way suitable for usage on typical mobile devices in situ. In close cooperation with the target group, we developed and evaluated an approach where cycling routes based on selected images of points of interest can be generated on-the-fly.
