Technological progresses will allow processing, storage and communication services to be pervasively extended to enable any possible interactions of people, machines and smart objects. As a consequence, future Telecommunication network will become more complex and heterogeneous, and the task of ensuring end-to-end Quality of Experience will be even more challenging, also considering the high dynamicity of resources. Users' devices, nodes, machines, smart objects and the surrounding space (e.g., with sensors, RFID tags, etc.) will create a highly decentralized common pool of resources interconnected by dynamic Networks of Networks that should be "Resource Aware". These "Resource Aware Network of Networks" should be able to reconfigure and self-organize (with limited human intervention) by taking into account the dynamic availability of resources and the requirements ecosystems of applications. The scope of this paper is presenting this vision, the main technological approach and some initial experimental results.
