The proliferation of social networking Websites has increased many folds in recent years. Presently all or most of the academic institutions have made substantial investment in computing and building internet infrastructure with an objective to improve productivity of students and faculty members. This objective in turn also enhances quality of their learning experiences. Female students, who have come from different social, cultural and demographic background and with the mass expansions of new technologies, are exposed in a new environment where communication to others through social networking is not restricted. A large country like India the factors which are responsible to influence the female students in this new environment is needed to be studied. In certain survey Collegiate grade point averages (CPI) were seen to be negatively correlated generated a great deal of media hype for female students.
