Recently, through the spread of digital cameras and photo-editing tools, it has become easy for consumers to make up faces in photographs for special events. However, it is still difficult to make spots and wrinkles look natural. In order to solve these problems, many artificial make-up systems have been proposed. One of these methods using a filter has shown a good performance. However, this method requires the tuning of many parameters to achieve a good performance. In order to improve these points, we have developed an auto-parameter tuning system by using templates. As the result of simulations, it was shown that the proposed method gives a good performance with autotuned parameters.
