The present paper considers the importance of human resources management for the success of organisations in the knowledge society. It provides a short theoretical background on commitment and motivation of employees and the importance of human resource management for meeting organisational goals and achieving its strategy. The deployment of information and communication technologies in this process facilitates the work of managers, as well as provides them with better tools for enhancing employees' participation and involvement in the organisations processes. The paper presents new electronic tools developed as an extension to existing human resources management software, aimed at collecting objective and subjective feedback from employees. An example of the application of these tools is provided and an analysis of the results of the improvement of human resources management in the organisation.
