Abstract

This paper deals with application of STRIPS planning in automated model transformations. Object oriented model is viewed as a state space containing possible models as states and elementary transformations as state transitions. A source model is represented by an initial state, a target model by a goal state. Automation of model transformation consists in finding a plan to reach a goal state in this state space.
