Abstract

This paper reports experiments conducted on the electronic control units of automobile components using model inference approach. We are studying the application of this approach to the problem of selecting quality components, validation and maintenance of component variants and their integration into a system. Our final results will help designers and researchers in embedded systems, specifically in automotive industry, to address these issues when complete specifications of component behaviors are unavailable.
