BibTeX is a file format that can be used for describing references. BibTeX elements can be represented in several languages such as XML, RDF, or OWL. Although, such representation provides more accessibility to BibTeX elements, it does not preserve the template of the original BibTeX element. In this paper, we propose to use (X)HTML-based templates for representing BibTeX elements. Such representation not only preserves the template of the original BibTeX elements but it also allows the BibTeX elements to be annotated directly in web pages using RDFa annotations. We conjuncture that this approach increases the accessibility and reconstruction of BibTeX elements by allowing to use semantic search based on the annotations on the BibTeX elements and the automatic construction of queries from the BibTeX elements.
