This paper introduces the Real-Time Interactive Video Summaries Player -RISPlayer-, an application for the real-time generation and visualization of video summaries that allows the user to generate and watch video summaries on the fly. Therefore, the player provides the possibility of interactively controlling the summary generation parameters and facilitates the creation of personalized summaries. The application makes use of previously developed technologies for progressive and efficient video summary generation and it is able to self adapt to systems with varying computational resources assuring uninterrupted summary generation and visualization.
