In a recent paper in this journal by Jahanshahloo et al. [Jahanshahloo, G. R., Sanei, M., Rostamy-Malkhalifeh, M., & Saleh, H. (2009). A comment on 'A fuzzy DEA/AR approach to the selection of flexible manufacturing systems'. Computers & Industrial Engineering, 56(4), 1713-1714]. They correct the proof of the Proposition 1 for finding lower and upper bounds of the @a-cut of E~r appeared in the previous paper by Liu [Liu, S. T. (2008). Fuzzy DEA/AR approach to the selection of flexible manufacturing systems. Computers & Industrial Engineering, 54, 66-79]. However, we find that both of the above proofs omit the verification of constraints of assurance regions, which makes them incredible. In this paper, we correct the proof of the proposition.
