Abstract

An explicit adaptive traffic allocation scheme is investigated in terms of the cooperation across wireless wide area networks (WWANs) and wireless personal area network (WPAN). The analysis and numerical simulations indicate that the proposed scheme achieves inter-networking load balance to minimize the whole transmission delay and expands the communication ability of single-mode terminals to support high data rate traffics.
