Abstract

This article focuses on the benefits resulting from the utilization of data boxes. Data boxes are intended to simplify and accelerate communication between public administration and third parties. Gathering of spatial data and information necessary for spatial decision making will be much easy if the data boxes are used. Since the project of data boxes is new (starting 1.7.2009), current and possible future problems are discussed at the end.
